Nestled into the banks of the Spree river in the heart of East Berlin, Studio 3.8 offers an extraordinary concept for off-site meetings and get-togethers. A short distance to the city centre, yet amid nature, overlooking the Spree’s widest point; the natural surroundings impart a sense of tranquillity, transporting guests to a place of calm perception. A private and peaceful oasis within the bustle of the capital’s urban life, consciously created to spark creativity and let inspiration flow.

A place for creators, thought leaders and decision makers – to meet, connect and collaborate.

Studio 3.8 has been created for demanding professionals that require privacy and intimacy for focused exchanges and that value the atmosphere of an exceptional experience. Our concept welcomes teams and task forces that seek a unique retreat scenario for formats such as executive off-sites and management meetings, strategy and ideation workshops, coaching sessions and presentations.

Art and Design

Studio 3.8 is an ever-evolving concept space that integrates creative collaborations with designers and artists, as well as pieces from the founders’ private collection into its spatial experience.

The interior concept has been curated by Catherine Pfisterer of Bazar Noir, showcasing a considered selection of handcrafted furniture and design objects from the likes of Coordination Berlin, NEO/CRAFT and Tilen Sepic, as well as artwork from Maximilian Magnus. Community and Surroundings

Studio 3.8 is a pioneering project of the Spreestudios community, having risen from what used to be the grounds of a public river bath, created in the 1920s. Deconstructed and redeveloped by architecture studio Thomas Baecker Bettina Kraus, the internationally-lauded community project accommodates diverse artistic, design and entrepreneurial initiatives that have given new life to the Rummelsburg neighborhood on Berlin’s most exciting waterfront property within the city.
